Jashan's Brother Quest

Starting NPC:  Jashan at 43813 15808 in Arbor Glen. 
There's a djinn right there to port you back to Aerus Haven to continue the quest.   - Trudor

You do not need nuetral cyclops faction to do this, Jashan is originally neutral to you, if you have not changed your faction by slaying a bunch of cyclops before you talk to him.  If the cyclops in general are agro to you, and Jashan is neutral, you can finish this quest.  If the cyclops in general are hostile to you, then you will not be able to talk to the last guy, Kalchas, because he will be hostile to you.

Comments on Solo, Grouped, or Battlegrouped: 
This has been done with 3 people.  This does not work for battlegroups.  When killing a mob for the quest, only the group that gets the killing blow gets credit.  You need to wait for respawn if you have more than a group of people doing this (which isn't so bad).

Steps:

Talk to the Starting NPC, Jashan, at 43k 15k in Arbor Glen.  Conversation with Jashan.  If Jashan won't talk to you, and is hostile instead of neutral, this is likely because you slayed a bunch of cyclops or did something else to change your faction.  From what I understand, you can slay centaurs to make Jashan neutral to you again.

Go back to Green Glades to get the items you need, the crushed marble can be found on the wandering statues around several ruins, try these locs in Green Glades: 14.8k, 37.2k or 50k 49k or 46k 57k.
You might not see the statues at first.  When we looked at 50k, 49k, we saw nothing at first, then after a few minutes we saw the marble statue wandering over the hill from one set of ruins to the other.

The items you need from a Centaur healer, naturalist and patron/barkeep can all be found at the village at 20k 40k GG. (see the Tips section to see how to pull the patron/barkeep) (healer + naturalist were orange cons and the patron was a red con).  You will be getting the Stringy Tree Moss and the Cup of Ale (not cup, but something of Ale) here from killing these.
*Note, the centaur cheif is at this village, he seemed to have a small aggro range and we tried to pull him but he would not leave his city and also he called all the centaurs in the village to help him. We ran from him after engaging he hit me (50 paladin) for 400+ and I was hitting him for 10-20, hes very tough. 

The venom you need from a cobra guardian can be found in either Green Glades or Arbor Glen. In Green Glades they are near the lake around 60k 25k guarding some structures. In Arbor Glen they are along much of the south wall around 5k 60k.

The circle of statues the quest refers to is Karise which is at 40k 22k , we just went west following a ridge and other cyclops' until we found Sidor (loc 31.4k, 11.1k Green Glades).  When you find him just kill him, he is a purple con. He drops a scroll, right click on it and type /interact.   Sidor has a 15 minute respawn.

The Dead Tree you are looking for is in Arbor Glen at 10.2k 7.1k go up to it and select your poision and type /Hide, and wait for the hide to finish, then run west. The cyclops' will run to it and then you run in and give Kalchas the potion. Half or more of the cyclops will die and then they will begin to run back at you. You must kill the remaining cyclops' for the quest to be complete. 

The cyclops have a 20-25 minute respawn, so if you have to do this again because you have more than a group of people or something, then just wait about 25 minutes and hide the poison again.

After kalchas escapes go back to Jashan at 43k 15k and get your reward.  Conversation with Jashan  Nov 7

Tips:

While /hide'ing the poision wait by the target mob and see how many giants are left, if one or two then take the red first and purple last. Duo'ed this with my 50 pally friend and my buffbot. Im a 50 spirit/body cabalist.  May 22 2004

Barkeep Step Tips:
Just did this with Blademaster and Bard-bot:
Approach the bar from the smiths forge side, if you judge the distance right none of the mobs on either side will agro and you can walk right up to the forge and pull the smiths one at a time.  Once the smiths are out of the way you can step to the right of the forge and look through the bar door. Bow pull a patron and retreat to the boundary.  As long as you can deal with a red con with just you and a buffbot there’s no reason why this step can’t be soloed.  Sep 18 2004

The barkeep and patrons are in the stone building in the centaur village. You can pull them out using GTAE. We did it with a group of 3 and pulled the patrons out with our earth wizard's GT spell.  Feb 17

Barkeep Step:   I did this quest yesterday w/ my pally and cleric bot. Ran my pally up to the outside wall of the bar to aggro, then back out of the camp. Patron came alone, kited him out of the village a little then killed him. Pretty easy.  Dec 17

Barkeep Step:  This was a very difficult step for us as well, we had 3 in the group and we managed to complete it by ungrouping one member and having him circle to the other side of the camp. In chat we would communicate to him when the chief and his cohort were not so near the bar, then our friend would sprint across the town passing very near the wall of the bar, then towards and past us.
The bar patrons et al would then boil out and chase him, then give up. We would then pull the needed mob while they were walking back to the bar.
We repeated this twice swapping out the 'runner' so that all 3 of us received the step.  Dec 17
